I finally start my excursion of revisiting TFTC episodes I haven't seen since the DVDs came out at least. These are episodes that are neither the best the show has to offer nor the worst. I thought I'd see how these episodes have held up and see if they're more good than bad or vice versa. I'm trying to pick episodes I can barely remember and avoiding episodes I've seen plenty of times (the good) and episodes I don't want to revisit (the bad). I won't be watching these episodes on a regularly basis, but I will when I can. So today I thought I'd start with the episode "Till Death Do We Part" which is the season finale from Season 5. Of course I'll mentioning spoilers since we've all seen these episodes.
So from the writer of "Point Break" (1991) is the story about a young gigolo and lover of a female mobster who has an affair with a night club waitress and the gigolo and waitress plot to overthrow the mobster. Not really much to say about the story since it's a basic "lovers plotting a heist and escaping" type of story. I forgot the episode has the doctor from Star Trek: Voyager and Sylvester Stallone's brother in it. lol. The performances are fine enough. Seeing Kate Vernon in her underwear is a nice little bonus.
The one thing that confused me was how the whole night-club shootout was just a dream sequence. I thought that this was the actual events of the film, but later finding out it was just a fantasy in Stamos's head. It's weird how the episode has a lot of people double and triple-crossing each other.
On the whole, it's not a bad episode and not the best nor the worst season finale of the show. I'd say I'm more positive about the episode than negative. If I have more thoughts on the episode, I'll update this, but these are just general feelings.

I've always enjoyed this episode very much. Different from the average TFTC episode but still with that EC flare to it.

Interesting episode but what a confusing ending! I am assuming John Stamos' character predicted the double-cross from his lover so went ahead with her execution without a second thought? There is no other way to explain this...

Ah, those "could have been great but ended up all weird" episodes! They're in a class of their own, really, this one and Deadline, Whirlpool.

I always liked this episode. Reminded me of a film noir more than horror. I remember first watching it and seeing Uncle Jesse from Full House in a much different role. I also liked Robert Pichardo and Frank Stallone as the mob henchmen

It's an enjoyable episode for sure. Different but it still manages to fit in with TFTC.

Different for sure but I’ve always like these type of episodes like Four Sided Triangle. Nothing supernatural or horror but just human behavior which can be scarier since it can happen in reality

It felt more akin to something that would've been in Crime/Shock SuspenStories and IIRC it may have actually been adapted from that. TFTC often adapted many stories from that along with The Vault Of Horror and The Haunt Of Fear.

It still has that EC flare to it, which still makes it fit in fine with the rest of the show.

I remember first seeing it snd saying yo myself “Holy Crap that Uncle Jesse”. I also like Frank Stallone in that too, he’s doing some good films like Barfly and Tombstone

It was probably a shock for many people to see John Stamos portraying his character here, but he does it well.
