I remember liking this Season 7 episode when I first saw it and thought it was time for a revisit. Let's see how it had held up.
The story is about a horror screenwriter accused of being a serial killer after three women are found with their heads cut off. The screenwriter is then interrogated thoroughly by the police detective in charge of solving the crimes.
A good episode and one of the best of Season 7. Definitely and intriguing cat-and-mouse game between the writer and the detective. It's nice that the writer is just as smart as the detective and can show proof of his innocence, as well as the detective possibly being a suspect, just as much as the detective can prove the writer's guilt as well as his own innocence. The intense conversations between the writer and detective shot up-close are effective.
