I always thought it was rather silly to think or imply that immoral behavior is what made Jason and the other killers target you in the first place. Even as a kid I knew being killed by them is an instance of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Exactly! Many of Jason's victims were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Also, like Michael Myers, Jason and other fictional killers kill people mainly because they're perceived to be in the way.

He's a lot like The Joker in that regard, so unpredictable and homicidal, but at the same time he's got that likeability to him.
Come to think of it... a conversation between Joker and Crypty would be something to see.

Funny thing is there was even a series of Batman comic books where Joker took on a Crypt Keeper-like role as the host, introducing and bookending the story about a particular Batman villain. The results for a Crypty and Joker conversation are limitless.
