You may also be able to find it occasionally at a second-hand shop like Saver's or Goodwill. Don't always get your hopes up for it, but occasionally I've found rare books including out of print novelizations for dirt cheap in good condition. You definitely get lucky once in a while at such shops.

It’s brilliant, and full of fun/interesting “behind the scenes” info! It also included a few EC original comics within. It’s amazig how well this show adapted some. Sometimes a panel from the comics and a scene from the show are nearly identical - brilliant stuff! |

The jacket was a bit worn but the book itself was in much better condition. |

It is a shame that the newer puppets don't have the same magic as Yagher's puppet. It's like the newer puppets have a static expression for the most part and the only parts of its face that actually articulate are the jaw and the eyelids. No eyebrow or lip movement. And we all know that the brow and lips were what really conveyed his expressions best.

Yagher's puppet truly felt like a living character (well, a living dead one, rather). It didn't feel the same when after S7 the puppets we got were mostly lackluster and very stiff. Though the one used in the game show was okay for what it was. Not great but acceptable.

Yagher’s puppet was just a work of art!
A couple of other studios got their chances to do the puppet but none kf them were on par with his work.
SOTCHH was the best one after the show ended. After that, it just got progressively worse.
I am pretty sure VanSnowden’s Cryptkeeeper was the one from the Season DVD segments.

The DVD puppet looked like a cheap dollar store animatronic or something. With Yagher's puppet you totally bought that it was a real character and told yourself Crypty wasn't a special effect, he was a real live character. Yagher's had a distinquished career for sure but I'd argue the Crypt Keeper is his crowning achievement. The puppet combined with John Kassir's voice, it was just a complete character.
