You can hear a familiar theme if you watch this trailer. Many people think this film is like a TFTC episode. That's fitting since TFTC director Robert Zemeckis directed this film. Universal is the studio that also released the TFTC theatrical films.

It's been ages since I last saw that film, seeing the trailer makes me want to revisit it. I don't think I've seen it since the early 90s, at least.

Years ago, when IMDb still had their message boards(OH! HOW I MISS THEM!!!!), I was on the Death Becomes Her board and one topic mentioned that the film was exactly like a TFTC episode. Now, until then, I myself have never realized that until I read that discussion and really thought about it.
It makes PERFECT sense that this film is seen as an extended TFTC episode. It has just about all of the TFTC characteristics such as the scary elements, the dark humor, the sexual elements, the comeuppances of the evil characters, and the morals.

Have you been to the IMDB 2.0 site? That's been the replacement for the IMDB message boards. The layout is just like this one.

But it's still isn't quite the same as the old IMDB boards.
