The short-lived Sci-Fi anthology Perversions Of Science was largely part of the reason we never got an eighth season for TFTC. If TFTC had made it that far, would it have gone on somewhat longer? We'll never know. But it says something that HBO branched out with more anthology shows after TFTC. I heard about that. I've seen a few of the Perversions of Science episodes on YouTube and I think the show is decent. But, not as good as TFTC. And yes, if TFTC would've made it to an eighth season, who knows how long it would've lasted. Though, if the show was still that popular, it shouldn't have been an issue. |

TFTC took a hit in popularity by then which was likely not helped by the lackluster 6th and 7th seasons as well as Bordello Of Blood, but a good 8th season could've revived it. We'll never know.

I bet a revival would be a big hit these days, especially with the new generation of fans.
