My state is getting ready to re-open as well, hopefully this doesn't worsen the situation. It's scary how rapidly this virus spreads.

True. As long as people follow instructions it should be fine. I heard a story of somewhere out west a large group of people gathered around for a pool party. It’s stupid things like that which people should know better. I understand people want to get back to normal but hopefully they realize have controlled reopening is better than nothing at all

That's so stupid, how can a pool party happen at a time like this? Ugh.

All too true, unfortunately. It seems things like pandemics unfortunately only bring out the worst in people.

Saw the news that Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Florida have been cancelled for this year due to COVID-19. Really unfortunate but at the same time understandable, especially since there's so many spiking cases. Still, it's sad given that this is an event so many look forward to every year.

Yeah it’s expected. There are a lot of things happening the past few months that I hate and will never get used to.

We can only hope this pandemic doesn't continue or worsen into 2021. It won't go away overnight, much as I wish it would.

Yeah sadly there are other things going on besides the pandemic that are making me very scared for 2021

It feels like every day something new is getting cancelled or delayed for a long time.

I live right near a movie theather and it's been shut down since March when the pandemic got severe. It's weird passing by it and seeing it so empty and deserted. I regularly went there prior to the pandemic and it's the strangest thing to see it unoccupied.

Yeah I live a mile away from the Alamo Drafthouse. I had a monthly pass so I went there all the time. It’s all boarded up now it’s eerie
