Thanks, it was definitely a tense week not knowing what became of him. Very relieved and grateful he's pulled through, moreso considering he had the Delta variant.

Although the virus is a serious thing for those who have health issues I do think certain people are trying to strike fear into people for their own gain. When you look at Florida they are living their lives and have things under control and the people running things there are smart. That’s why I’m moving my family there soon 😃

The thing is that this is now over a year and a half later and I’ve seen many places go back to pretty much normal with no real issues while others are pushing for it to continue and even make mandates which is awful .

You’re not wrong. Inflation is at a record high. Honestly that scares me much more. Been a horrible 10 months in that aspect

It feels like this year we were bouncing back from 2020 but now we may be right back where we started with this new variant. It's frustrating for life to come to a crawl like this.

I guess me personally I’ve just tried to move on from it mostly because I feel many higher up are using it for power/control over people. Even though I got vaccinated I completely respect those who have chosen not to because of concerns they have.

Got my Pfizer booster shot today and so far feel fine, other than the injection site being a little sore. There's record numbers of Omicron cases where I live, so it feels good knowing I've got enhanced protection against COVID and it's variants.

I work in a school so I reluctantly had to get vaccinated/booster. Our students went remote this past week but will be back tomorrow

That's good, you've all got enhanced protection in the event of anything. I just want the year to be normal with as little interference from the virus and it's variants as possible.

Personally I just go about my life as best as I can. It’s frustrating. My biggest frustration are mandates. Forcing vaccinations of people us just wrong. I wear a mask in the halls around any children but in my office I usually pull it down
