The great Italian composer Ennio Morricone has died at age 91. The main behind great soundtracks of the Sergio Leone films, once Upon a Time in America, and The Untouchables. Coming from an Italian family I would listen to his music many times since I was a kid. A legendary composer for sure

R.I.P. Another awful loss this terrible year has brought upon us. Besides the scores you mentioned he also did the incredibly eerie score for John Carpenter's classic remake of The Thing, which fit the film so perfectly.
