Sorry if this comes off random but after everything that has happened in the past few months I have often thought a lot about simpler times from my childhood in particular the 90s. I was born in 83 so I remember the late 80’s fairly well but I cane if age in the 90’s. Back then I felt it was much more peaceful. There were no iPhones, social media, and even internet Was still in it’s early stage. Kids played outside more which never happens anymore even before the corona things. Also the RV shows. Obviously Tales From the Crypt and shows like Married with Children which can never Be made today. Anyway What are some of your favorite memories from the 90’s?

I was a kid of the 90s as well and miss that decade very much. So many good memories of it. Especially networks like Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Discovery Channel, etc. having excellent programming.

Yeah MTV was very popular back then. I just found out my grammar school is closing so it had made me reminisce a little bit

MTV back then was great. Along with their constant airplay of music videos from various bands, they had a lot of cool programs like Beavis & Butt-Head and their Oddities series, and their awards shows were always fun.

I remember when that came out. MTV changed so much after the 90s and nowadays is such a sad joke.

Yeah true. My wife and I tried the new Unsolved Mysteries but we didn’t like it. The original is awesome. The new one feels like an ID program. The original had Robert Stack, the eerie music, and that 90’s re-enactments

I do. Both MTV and VH1 back then were great and you could easily waste so many hours watching them non-stop.

I haven't watched either MTV or VH1 in so many years, mainly because they air absolute garbage nowadays.

Yeah I haven’t seen VH1 since they did a “I love the 90’s” series 15 years ago 😂

I think that was about the last time I watched VH1, too. It says a lot the last time they were worth watching is when they did a 90s retrospective series.

Yeah it makes me feel old 😂. But I’ve been feeling very nostalgic lately and I think others above the age of 30 have too. They are streaming “Supermarket Sweep” on Netflix and its being watched by millions over the past few days 😂
