I'm always nostalgic for the 90s. There's so much to enjoy about that decade. The movies, TV shows, video games, trends and fads, etc. I miss the simplicity of it, too.

Yeah especially now. I’m come from NY so everything sucks Right now. Our mayor/governor are inept morons, violence obviously is sky high. So yeah I’ve been trying think of better times as a kid and teenager. I remember this time 25 years ago I spent he whole summer in Florida. One of the best vacations ever

There'll never be a better decade for TV shows than the 90s, for sure. Back then networks like Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Discovery and Learning Channel, Disney Channel, etc. were all awesome and had all sorts of great programming that made cable well worth paying for.

Nickelodeon at least seems to be making an effort to appeal to their 90s fans. The Are You Afraid Of The Dark? mini-series from last year was very good and a nice homage to the show.

Legends Of The Hidden Temple, Guts, Double Dare, Figure It Out, Nick Arcade, Wild And Crazy Kids, What Would You Do, etc. what I would've given to be on any of these shows back then. I recall I created a thread about 90s Nickelodeon sometime ago on here.

The 90s is by far my favorite decade for video games, too. Just the right balance of being more advanced but still fun and replayable. I find video games today are more about flashiness and presentation.

Tbh I was never a big gamer. I do remember liking Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong, and NBA Live. Personally I felt video games became too violent later on but at least in the 90’s they were just fun.

I find video games these days I'm just not into at all, though there's a few that look appealing to me, but not enough to warrant spending hundreds of hard-earned dollars on a new console. It's absurd to me how expensive both game consoles and the games are, and then DLC which makes it even more pricey in the long run.

I spent most of my time outside playing sports. I remember living next to a big field and playing manhunt with my buddies and whiffle ball, riding bikes. Now pretty much every kid is attached to their iPhone or iPad

It seems the days of kids playing hopscotch or cops and robbers are sadly long gone. You're hard-pressed not to find kids playing on their phones these days.
