Neither the best nor worst episode of the show in my opinion, but it's always an interesting one to discuss for how widely opinions on it vary. For some reason it feels more like a Tales From The Darkside episode to me but with much more explicit violence and language. It almost has the feel of an unused segment from the TFTD movie that instead got recycled into TFTC. Not sure why but something about it really comes off like an R-rated TFTD episode to me.
It's a harmless episode IMO, as I said neither the best or worst. It's enjoyable, even if hardly the show's finest hour (or err, half hour). Some good gruesome gore and make-up effects and a very good performance from the always good Clancy Brown as an appropriately shady antagonist. I find the Crypt Keeper segments are some of the funniest the show ever did.
