I think this is one of the better episodes. I’ve seen it on a lot of lists of top rated episodes but at the same time isn’t talked about that much. Directed by Todd Holland who is know for comedy but also directed darker material earlier in his career like Twin Peaks and of course This episode of TRTC. Similarly Jon Lovitz is also known for comedy but players a darker more dramatic role here. Great episode and great ending

Very good episode and it probably has a spot on my favorites list. One of the best twists of the show and very well-acted by all, especially Jon Lovitz who's both sympathetic yet scary at the same time. An episode well-deserving and earning of it's good reputation.

Yes very good episode indeed. What I like most is the against type performance by Lovitz

Kind of a shame he hasn't done more in Horror as he adjusts to it pretty well here. I find a lot of actors who usually do comedic roles often transition very well to more serious ones and he's no exception. He's both sympathetic yet sinister in this.

Yeah I like seeing comedy actors doing different work not just in the horror genre. For example
Adam Sandler- Punch Drunk Love
John Candy- JFK and Only the Lonely
Even Bill Hader in the It movie

Those are good examples, too.
I still feel this episode has one of the very best twists of the show. For a first-time viewer who doesn't know anything about it at all going in it must be a complete shock.
