R.I.P. Wilford Brimley

Actor Wilford Brimley passed away on August 1st from kidney disease, at the age of 85. R.I.P. I most remember him for his memorable role as Blair in John Carpenter's The Thing, which is one of my all-time favorite Horror films. He had scores of other memorable roles too, including Cocoon, Hard Target, Ewoks: The Battle For Endor, and of course the Quaker Oats and Liberty Medical commercials. Very sad he's gone and another victim of this terrible year. Rest well.
