Is that real or fan-made? I'm assuming probably the latter, but it's a good attempt. It would've indeed been awesome but probably not without controversy. Given the backlash over Batman Returns that forced McDonalds to cancel the Happy Meal promotion with it, I can only imagine the uproar this would've caused back then.

It's possible we could've still gotten a Happy Meal tie-in based around the animated series rather than the live-action show, which in hindsight it's a surprise we didn't.

That would have been cool back then. But yeah they would have never done it since it was a dark more adult show. There was a cartoon show aimed at kids and a game show aimed at kids, so I don't think doing a Happy Meal would've been too much of a stretch, particularly if they had used the imagery from the cartoon series. |

It's possible there may have been intended for there to be a tie-in with the animated series. I'm hard-pressed to imagine the live-action Crypt Keeper's ghoulish visage getting approved for use on Happy Meals.
