What are some episodes of other Horror anthology shows that feel like they could've easily been episodes of TFTC? In terms of the tone, the story, the twists, the way it's shot or lit, etc.? Episodes of other Horror anthology series that to you feel like honorary TFTC episodes in the sense they'd fit right alongside the actual TFTC show?
Family from Masters Of Horror comes to mind right away for me. That episode feels like it could've very easily been an unmade TFTC episode that got recycled as part of MOH, instead. From it's darkly humorous yet still disturbing storyline that blends dark humor in with it's horrofic proceedings, and the twist is something straight out of an EC Horror comic. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it was inspired by EC Comics.

Friday the 13th series has a few of them. One was called The Playhouse. I think it would have made a great TFTC episode. The only difference is that it ended in a more hopeful note while TFTC mostly had dark endings

I've been meaning to re-visit the F13 TV show for so long. It was good from my memory and quite dark and eerie. I fondly remember watching the reruns back in the 90s on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Yeah me too. Some episodes are on dailymotion. I started watching a couple but I will try to watch more this weekend

Quite a few Tales From The Darkside episodes are also EC-like, which comes as no surprise seeing as George Romero (R.I.P.) was heavily influenced by the EC Horror comics of the 50s.

A whole lot of old Alfred Hitchcock Presents episodes, I mean really, too many to even name.

Thinking it over, some TFTD episodes that feel like they could've very easily been TFTC episodes: Halloween Candy Trick Or Treat Heretic In The Cards Madness Room Parlour Floor Front Baker's Dozen The Devil's Advocate The Circus Red Leader Beetles These all feel like they could've very easily been EC stories.

I guess in some regards The Last Car is EC-like, but it doesn't have the just desserts style that so many EC storylines were known for. It's one of my very favorite TFTD episodes tough, I often go back and forth between it and Halloween Candy.

It's an excellent episode. I'd even say it's on par with some of the best TFTC ones.
Monsters (which was made by the same crew as TFTD) also has many EC-like episodes. Hostile Takeover comes to mind, it feels like it could've easily been a TFTC episode.
