Having watched the 1972 TFTC movie for the first time in so long, I forgot how truly loathesome and abhorrent the characters of Elliott and Major Rogers were. These characters were hateful to the point I wanted to enter the television screen and kill them both myself, which is a testament to how well-portrayed they were by their actors. These two truly got what they deserved.

Having recently rewatched The Trap for the first time in forever, I have to agree that Lou Paloma is a hateful POS. Not just obnoxious but also abusive and cruel. He deserved way worse than what he got. Bruce McGill did a great job as him for sure, not just making him appropriately hateful like a TFTC antagonist should be but even portraying him as if he were in a live-action Horror comic book. As if he were a comic book character come to life straight out of the panels.
