The Current Legal Battle with TFTC Holdings and EC Comics

So as of right now, there is a lot that isn't known to the general public or to the Tales fans about the rights custody battle.
Currently, TFTC Holdings and its subsidaries (Cryptkeeper Inc, Deep Shadow Productions, Morbo, Inc., and Haunted Taled Productions, Inc) are attempting to retain Tales From The Crypt under their banner.
The Plaintiff in this case trying to attain the rights is none other than The Gaines Estate (William M. Gaines, Agent, Inc.)
This case has been going on since 2013, ALL THE WAY TO ITS RECENT date of January 10th, 2021, in which on this date, the Respondant/Defendant (TFTC Holdings) was required to submit a new law firm for counsel. Should the Respondant fail to submit new representation or choose to represent itself, the Board of Patent and Trademark could award custody of the IP to the Plaintiff (Gaines Estate)
This response was to be submitted 30 days from the 10th of December 2020...and that's today.
I am going to keep tabs on this case to see if anything gets filed. There could be a new addition tomorrow.
