Bit of an unusual and different topic, but any other fans of Mountain Dew soda here? While Coke and Pepsi are my favorites, Mountain Dew is right beside them for their huge variety of flavors. I like the regular Dew flavor well enough, but I far prefer the likes of Code Red and Voltage. My favorite flavors are LiveWire and Typhoon, with the former sadly not easy to find in my state and the latter having been discontinued after it lost the Dewmocracy 2010 challenge (still can't believe it didn't win that challenge). The Frost Bite flavor which is a Wal-Mart exclusive is one that's quickly become a favorite of mine. It feels like an adventure going to a place that sells groceries and seeing what Dew flavors you can find.

Honestly I’ve had it a few times but not my favorite although I thought it was pretty good. However I no longer drink soda anymore so it’s been a while since I’ve had Pepsi and even longer since I had Mountain Dew 😂. Didn’t they just re-release surge not too long ago?

Surge is now a Burger King exclusive. I remember Surge soda and loved it back in the day. A fond memories of my later 90s childhood.
I hear you about not drinking soda. I try to cut back on my intake which is easier said than done. I drink way too much of it.

Oh I see. I havent been to Burger King in many years. Yeah I stopped drinking soda because it caused a lot of dental problems I needed an extensive cleaning and Had a lot of cavities. So now I drink mainly water and milk with my cereal And my teeth look good and I sleep a lot better now. But anyway getting back to your point Mountain Dew is good even though it doesn’t have the same popularity as the others I feel

It's insane the different flavors Mountain Dew has. I miss LiveWire and Typhoon. Typhoon was so delicious from my memory and it was a shock when it lost the Dewmocracy challenge back in 2010. There's been rumors of it making a comeback but so far nothing seems solid. It'd be the coolest thing for it to make a comeback.
One of the newest flavors is Major Melon which I tried and I'm not too fond of it, too strong and sweet for my liking. It tastes like watermelon Jolly Rancher which sounds delicious but the execution wasn't quite there for me.

Yeah I have t even kept track of the newest flavors 😂. I remember a bunch of sodas that came out in the 90’s that went defunct soon after. Wasn’t there a blue Pepsi soda or something? I can’t think of the name

I seem to recall there was. It may have been called Pepsi Blue?
Another favorite Mountain Dew flavor is mine is Solar Flare, which IIRC is a 7-Eleven exclusive. Not sure if it's still around. Baja Blast is another favorite, I always have it every time I eat at a Taco Bell, where it's exclusive to.

Crystal Pepsi was briefly re-released a few years back. It was delicious, very upset it's been discontinued again. It's better than the regular Pepsi IMO, tastes similar but with a bit of a smoother, richer flavor. I wish it'd make a permanent comeback.

Yeah I had it back in the day. To be perfectly honest I can’t remember how it tasted but like you said it tasted like regular Pepsi so maybe that’s why

It's taste is very similar but not as sweet. It's like regular Pepsi but better. I don't know it wasn't made a permanent flavor.

A heads up for fellow Mountain Dew fans and drinkers, Baja Blast (which is normally a Taco Bell exclusive) is getting individual releases to stores along with two variant flavors (Baja Punch and Baja Flash) within the next week or so. Can't wait. Baja Blast is another one of my favorite Dew flavors, but I so wish Typhoon would've made a comeback.
