Wouldn't it have been cool to see the Crypt Keeper interacting with the other two "Ghoulunatics", the Vault Keeper (from the Vault of Horror comics) and the Old Witch (from the Haunt of Fear comics)? The three horror hosts from the EC comics of the 50's (which inspired this show) could have taken turns introducing each episode, telling the stories, and making jokes along the way, as well as arguing with eachother and whatnot. I wonder if there was ever any plans to include all three of them at some point.
All three of them appeared in the original Tales From the Crypt comics, as well as the two sister publications mentioned above so why not in this series? At least they were in the Tales From the Cryptkeeper animated spinoff and done very well, but would have been cool to see live action versions with a more adult tone. The closest we ever came was when that picture of the Old Witch mask prop was shown in Korman's Kalamity. Hell, the Vault Keeper wasn't even in the 1973 Vault of Horror movie by Amicus Productions, despite the Crypt Keeper being present in the preceding 1972 Tales From the Crypt film.
The Crypt Keeper has been well represented in the various adapted media outside the comics, so why do the other two always get excluded?

I wonder this, myself. If I were to guess, maybe it was to keep production costs down and maybe also because the producers or execs may have been uncertain if the show could've worked with multiple hosts. And seeing how popular the Crypt Keeper was perhaps they also felt no other host could ever equal or surpass him. Still, it wouldn't been cool to see the other two hosts appear, perhaps in a similar role they had in the animated series where they have a rivalry with Crypty for control of the show (and of course, with far more gruesome results than the animated series did).
I wouldn't be surprised if when designing the Crypt Keeper, the special effects team decided to hybridize the appearances of all three hosts into one. I always wonder what the decision was to make Crypty all zombified and decomposed, as opposed to his comic book counterpart where he was just a very decrepit, haggard old man.
