Which episode was the first you can recall seeing? Mine was Lover Come Hack To Me, way back in 1989. I turned 2 years old in June of 1989, mere days before the premiere of the first season, and my mother was fairly permissive, allowing me to watch Horror. I remember we had a VHS tape that had this episode recorded (it also had the movies A Nightmare On Elm Street 4 and The Hidden) and as a kid I constantly watched the tape over and over, and it got worn out to the point it's practically unwatchable. The show scared me so bad mainly due to the Crypt Keeper, but at the same time there was something about it that intrigued me and dared me to watch despite my fear.
While LCHTM is among my lesser episodes, being my first and one I watched a great deal back then, it naturally has some strong nostalgic and sentimental value, and being my introduction to TFTC I can't be too hard on it. Though there are surely much better episodes, and ones I'm glad I discovered the more I watched the show.

I watched it when it first premiered with The Man who was Death. I was 6 but I had an older cousin who I watched it with. Obviously this was a time where there weren’t many cable shows and other than Married with Children they were able to push the envelope more

On the VHS tape we had LCHTM on it even had the warning disclaimer that used to air before the episode back then.

Mine was About Face when I was around 7 or 8. It unsettled me to say the least.
