They actually don't, they're fan-made. But still awesome and I'd love to own them.
I fondly remember seeing the previews for this on WPIX Channel 11 back then but sadly it was only last year I finally saw it. Better later than never, as they say. Older films like this are all-new for first-time viewers like myself.

Oh ok I figured these were Fan made. The movie was not a big success when it came out and even though it has cult status now it still isn’t talked about as much. The films had its flaws for sure but when you look at films like The Crow and Fast and the Firious they definitely took a lot from The Wraith

I don't think it's unreasonable to think the creator of The Crow was influenced by The Wraith, as the graphic novel was written around 1988/1989, which would've been after The Wraith's release. The similarities are pretty undeniable. Not a knock against The Crow as the film is great and I also enjoyed the graphic novel. I feel The Wraith and The Crow both make for a good and fitting double feature.

Absolutely. Not knocking the Crow at all I love that film. Every film has influences from other films. After reading an interview with the director of the Wraith I found out there were other subplots that were introduced but didn’t make it into the film that sounded interesting

It's a shame The Wraith character never featured in anything else outside of the film. It's a character who'd be good to explore further in comics and such. I wonder if we would've learned more had the film gotten a sequel or two. Feels like the best franchise character who never was but should've been.

The only thing is that the ending is pretty final. I guess you could create a new character that becomes The Wraith but I feel it fits well as a stand-alone film. Personally I’m not a big sequel guy. There have been a few sequels that I love like Godfather 2 but it really depends

That reminds me of something I've pondered since the film, are there other Wraiths or just the one in the film? Would've been interesting territory to explore in a sequel, other people becoming a Wraith.

Yeah that’s interesting. My guess is that there would be more Wraiths if they continued with sequels. I know a deleted subplot in the film was Sheriff Loomis visiting a witch doctor about The Wraith

That kind of seems to indicate there's been more than one Wraith over the years. That would've been a neat route to explore in a sequel.

You’re welcome! I know that you mentioned that it’s become one of your favorites since watching it. I grew up watching this film. I still Remember fondly it being on the 5 o’clock Saturday movie on channel 11 in the 90’s
