Actor Ray Liotta passed away in his sleep at the age of 67 today, from causes not yet revealed as of this writing. R.I.P. Completely in shock over this and blindsided by it. He was an excellent actor and always a standout in everything he did. Even in a not so good film he rose to the occasion and turned in a strong show. So many memorable performances over the course of his career. He'll be sorely missed and I give his loved ones my best wishes.

This was really a gut punch when a I heard this the other day. I grew up watching his films and he was certainly one of my favorites. Obviously Goodfellas and Field of Dreams get the most attention and rightfully so. However my personal favorites were when he played a bad guy like Unlawful Entry and Something Wild. He also did a very underrated sci fi film called No Escape
