I previously did a 30th anniversary for Seasons 1-3, so I figure I'd continue the trend. Season 4 is overall a pretty good season, but cracks start to appear in the Crypt foundation so to speak. I mean compared to the previous three seasons, we start to get some more weaker episodes here like This'll Kill Ya, Seance, and Curiosity Killed. But even though there is an increase in weaker episodes, we still have plenty of good ones. What's Cookin' and Split Personality are some of my favorite episodes, and I like Werewolf Concerto, King of the Road, Showdown, and None but the Lonely Heart. The New Arrival is probably one of the scariest episodes of Crypt to come along. This was also the season when The CryptKeeper finally got a set puppet look that he kept for the rest of the show's run. The show also reached its peak in terms of mainstream popularity during this season.

A very good season, even with a few weaker episodes here and there. The New Arrival and Strung Along are some of my absolute favorite TFTC episodes. I also like Beauty Rest, What's Cookin', King Of The Road, Showdown, On a Deadman's Chest, None But The Lonely Heart and Split Personality. I enjoy Seance, though it isn't a favorite of mine. I seem to recall TFTC was arguably at it's height of popularity during this time. I remember in 1992 you pretty much saw Crypty everywhere.
I fondly remember catching Seance, What's Cookin' and Split Personality the night they aired. I think I may have caught Beauty Rest when it aired, too. I'll never forget watching Split Personality with my Grandmother (R.I.P.) and how she reacted to the gory ending scene.
