Crypt Keeper Episode

Given the popularity of the Crypt Keeper, it's a bit surprising there was never a special episode dedicated solely to him where he was the main character. Could it have worked? He was never the protagonist in the live-action show nor involved in the stories, but in Season 3 of the animated series he would often interact with the main characters and even helped guide the plot in some of them. In the episode All Booked Up, he noticably aids the protagonist during his ordeal there.
He probably couldn't have quite worked as a main character but in a supporting capacity where he still plays a crucial role in the story he probably would've worked well. I think that could've been a really neat episode, having him involved with the story he was telling and aiding the protagonist. Had TFTC gone on another season I wonder if he could've gotten such an episode.
