Continuing my look at the 30th anniversary of each season as they come around. I'm now on Season 6 which premiered 30 years ago on October 31st. The last American season of the show. But it also feels like the show is starting to run low on gas at this point. But the season has enough highlights to make it watchable. I'll share my episode recollections. "Let the Punishment Fit the Crime" is a decent start. "Only Skin Deep" is good. "Whirlpool" is not bad. "Operation Friendship" starts off all right, but kind of loses itself halfway from what I remember. "Revenge Is the Nuts" is all right. "The Bribe" is OK, but one of the weakest episodes of the season. "The Pit" is hands-down the worst episode of the series and shouldn't even be a TFTC episode. "The Assassin" is not bad, but more known for the CK segment with the Grim Reaper. "Staired in Horror" is not bad. "In the Groove" is not good. One of the show's worst episodes. "Surprise Party" is OK. "Doctor of Horror" is decent. "Comes the Dawn" is OK. "99 & 44/100% Pure Horror" is decent enough. "You, Murderer" is good and one of the best episodes of the season. However, it's the weakest of the Robert Zemeckis-directed episodes.

The series definitely sadly started to tumble here, but there's some truly good episodes. Comes The Dawn, Doctor Of Horror, Staired In Horror, Only Skin Deep, Revenge Is The Nuts, Let The Punishment Fit The Crime and 99 & 44/100% Pure Horror range from great to decent. The rest are pretty weak from my recollection, with some being outright awful like Whirlpool.
