Hilarious. That's actually a really cool doll with a very good likeness of Crypty, clearly based on the live-action version rather than the cartoon one. It's still amusing to think back then they tried marketing the show and so much merchandise at kids who were terrified of Crypty back then and most of whom probably weren't even allowed to watch the live-action show.

Kooky yet creepy commercial. A toy marketed to children based on a horror character of an adult show. Boy, the 90s were something else.

Sure were. Seeing these old toy ads always makes me nostalgic for that era.

Also of note Robot Chicken used this doll in the episode El Skeletorito, which had a parody of TFTC.
Curious if anyone here owns it. I'm still looking for it at vintage toy places near me in my town.

I'm still unable to find this doll anywhere where I live. My best bet will probably be to try to score a deal on the internet. I occasionally see it going for a reasonable price.

Cool toy. I would have loved that back in the day.
I love how there was this attempt to package the Cryptkeeper as this cuddly, harmless character for kids.

Why don't I own this..? Scratch that. Why don't I own ten of them..?
