You know Crypty was so big back in the day he's even getting his own lottery tickets.
With how terrified I was of him back then, seeing that cardboard standee of him in a convenience store would've scared me silly. I'm sure it must've startled more than a few back then.

I remember back in the early 2000s or so going into a grocery store with my mom around Halloween and they had a huge Crypt Keeper standee on display. To say I was freaked out would be putting it mildly. It sure took me a long time to get over my fear of Crypty.

It surprises me in a way when I look back that the store had that big standee of Crypty up. I got to wonder if the store got complaints from customers about it.

I'd be hard-pressed to imagine the stores didn't get more than a few angry complaints from parents.

I don't recall ever seeing those Budweiser ones, but nonetheless I'm sure they would've terrified me had I ever seen them back then.
