It's always sad to see a good show end on such a bad note. Aren't some fans even petitioning for the final season to be non-canon and redone, as they were that upset over it?

Wow. It's doubtful it'll do anything but you never know. If it explodes that much maybe HBO will take notice.

Wow. It's doubtful it'll do anything but you never know. If it explodes that much maybe HBO will take notice. At this point, it's to show how rightfully upset the GOT fans are of the final season. Also, the writers didn't have the balls to show up at this year's Comic Con because they were scared of what the fans were going to ask them in terms of the disappointing GOT series finale.
Btw, I've been gone a while due to going to a family reunion which is why I haven't been on here for a bit. But here I am!

No worries, welcome back That was pretty lame of the writers to outright avoid the fans like that. When there's a problem you do what you can to solve or remedy it, not run away from it.

Exactly! The fact that they avoided Comic Con and the fans shows how they don't care. Plus, they made themselves look even worse of running away from the situation instead of acknowledging the problem and try to remedy it.

I didn't watch GOT but I can relate to the feeling of when your favorite TV show or film series doesn't end on the best note. The GOT creators really should make more of an effort to try to connect with the fans and mend the wounds after the disappointing finale.

What they're currently doing is making things much worse. They should acknowledge how terrible the finale had turned out and make amends with the fans. Unfortunately, when a lot of people think of GOT now, they'll think about how it ultimately became a trainwreck due to the awful finale. SMH.

With how vocal the fan backlash has been who's to say HBO won't take it seriously and decide to re-do the final season, just to mend the wounds.

The best thing that HBO can do is to put out an apology statement for the GOT fans to at least show that they are mindful about the issues in this situation.

I still see fans all over the internet complaining about the finale. This doesn't bode well for GOT at all and HBO would be wise to address it.

I also see GOT fans all over the Internet still lamenting. I can't help but feel sorry for them. HBO and the creators seriously don't realize that they're making things much worse by not addressing the issues with the final season and the finale. It's unbelievable. Back on topic, we should do something special this October to truly celebrate the 30th anniversary of TFTC.

Every October as part of my Halloween viewing I always have a bunch of TFTC episodes in rotation as part of my Horror viewing. The Halloween season feels incomplete without TFTC.

And for me I kind of consider Crypty to be the unofficial mascot for the Halloween season. Like Jack Wohl said on the From Comic Books To Television documentary, Crypty is for Halloween what Santa Claus is for Christmas. Couldn't have said it better.
