I happily own it on Blu-ray. I'd love it if the same personnel who made it would do a similar doc for TFTC.

It's absurd TFTC has yet to get a Blu-ray release. It needs an HD remaster so badly.

I dunno if it’s a rights issue or what. But yeah I’m surprised it’s take this long and still nada as far as a Blu-ray

It's too bad we didn't get a Blu-ray release for it last year for the 30th anniversary. I wonder if WB or HBO even cares for the show, with how they practically don't even acknowledge it.

Yeah I’m surprised because it’s a cult show that is pretty popular for genre fans. Especially when you think about all the high profile directors and actors who worked on it

I remember back in the day it was very popular and was arguably HBO's most popular and well-known show at the time. I'd argue it helped establish HBO as a powerhouse network.

It was very popular. It was really the first big HBO series. The other shows like Oz, sopranos, and the wire didn’t come until the late 90’s

I remember both the show and the Crypt Keeper were very popular. TFTC was HBO's most popular show back then, hands down.
