Which season of TFTC do you think was the best and why?
For me Season 2 will always be the absolute pinnacle of the show. It's the most EC-like of the show's run and had the perfect balance of being scary with plenty of dark humor and also balanced out the types of Horror the episodes dealt with, between Horror that was more realistic and psychological to more traditional Horror fare involving monsters, ghosts, etc. and Season 2 alone has so many absolutely classic episodes of the show like:
Television Terror (IMHO the overall best episode of the show)
Fitting Punishment
Cutting Cards
The Secret
Korman's Kalamity
'Til Death
The Ventriloquist's Dummy
Lower Berth
Three's a Crowd
Dead Right
There's other good ones too like The Thing From The Grave and For Cryin' Out Loud. So many Crypt classics in this one season alone. Besides S2, Seasons 5 and 3 are my runner-ups. If I were to rank them it'd go:

I think as a whole 1-5 were all excellent but sadly the show took a tremendous tumble with S6. Both seasons were under par except for a handful of decent ones in both.
