First and foremost, I want to say......Sorry I ghosted. Heheheheheheheheheheheh.
Been busy due to work, and had a lot of priorities that had to be taken care of. For the most part, this is still the case, however.....
I have been able to put more time into editing again and putting more of an effort with CryptTube, NOW THAT I HAVE A MUCH BETTER PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY TO WORK WITH.
I am now currently revamping my whole format, and am going to bring you updated TALES FROM THE CRYPT in 4K, starting with And All Through The House, which you will see at the bottom of this post. Second, now that I have updated technology, I can finally get back to making more CryptDiscussions, and speaking to you, the fans, and addressing things we have all noticed or perhaps wanted to talk about.
This community is very important to me, and I want to do the best I can to bring us together and be more hack-tive.
I don't know if any of you know, but I created a discord for Tales. If there is a large demand for this to go active, I can provide a link for all of you to get access to it.
Third, utilizing CryptTube, I think its very important, to try to put others in the spotlight....mainly, all of you. I want to use my platform to show off fan art, work, homages, killections, and have (if you'll forgive the hex-pression) "LIVE" discussions concerning the IP and what it has given us.
ALL THAT BEING SAID, please enjoy AND ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE in 4K. I highly recommend checking it out on a 4K TV (if you have one) or with an recent up to date mobile device that can play 4K media. SCARY CRYPTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALl A GOOD FRIGHT!

Nice to have you back here again. I don't remember the last time you were here, but I'm sure we've had a good development or two that you might have missed. For instance, I got to interview an actor who worked on Bordello of Blood earlier this year. I even made a thread about it:

Ooooh!! Awesome that you managed to get in contact with him. I read your interview with him and you had a great form of questions for him! Tremendous work. I can’t even imagine what it was like to work on that set However if does confirm a lot about Miller. We heard the stories from many of the cast members and this further solidified that he was a pain in the ass. I thought he had some funny dialogue but based on his on set behavior, I can see why a lot of people and Hollywood itself steered clear of him after. I am shocked he still had an HBO show. Considering HBO was the one who created Tales.

I honestly enjoy hearing more about the BOB shoot than watching the film itself. It's amazing anything at all was salvagable out of that film.

With the way Gil Adler had to deal with Miller being the star and asking for the pay that he did, just makes me question what the day to day must have been like to even warrant a film at that point. Or why they didn't just re-cast. Btw, what did you think of AATTH?

It seems Adler has never spoken of the film since it's release. I wonder if he just wants to forget about it altogether? I'm sure he has all sorts of bad memories of the shoot and dealing with Miller's terrible on-set behavior and conduct.
AATTH looks amazing in HD! Like seeing it again for the first time. It's amazing how upscaling makes such a difference with image quality. It looks like an official Blu-ray release.

I wish I could have attended this and that he could have taken part in the Blu-ray featurette.
"Bordello of Blood (20th Anniversary Screening!) Filmmakers in Attendance for Q and A
Join us on Saturday, July 16 at the Rio Theatre for a very special 20th Anniversary screening of Bordello of Blood. Featured guests for this event include director Gil Adler, special effects creator Todd Masters, and John Kassir (aka, the voice of the Crypt Keeper!) via Skype.
Shot in Vancouver, Bordello of Blood is a notorious horror-comedy film starring Dennis Miller, Erika Eleniak, Angie Everhart, Corey Feldman and Chris Sarandon based on the HBO television series Tales from the Crypt.
“After her trouble-making brother, Caleb (Corey Feldman), goes missing, Katherine Verdoux (Erika Eleniak) seeks the services of sarcastic private investigator Rafe Guttman (Dennis Miller) to track the errant youth down. Rafe eventually determines that Caleb is in the thrall of Lilith (Angie Everhart), a powerful vampire who operates a seedy brothel. When Rafe and Katherine set out to rescue Caleb, they must contend with the lethal Lilith and her evil minions.”

I didn't know Adler attended a BOB screening. Looking at the image with him and Miller, you can just feel the disdain he has for Miller, who looks all smarmy and cocky there.
I got to wonder if any footage from the BOB shoot exists of Miller's on-set antics and trouble. I bet there had to have been more than a few altercations and outbursts on the set.

Wow. That looks clear and clean. Awesome job! Btw, no need to apologize. I've been kind of busy myself and recovering from surgery. We're always here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I highly doubt there is footage of the backstage drama. Just based on his expression in the picture alone, it looks like he barely wanted to film that movie let alone film the behind the scenes.
