I'd like to see you do a 4K on a season 3, 4, or 5 episode next. While the DVDs for these seasons are watchable, they could certainly use a remastering which makes me curious about what you could do.

A friend of mine on reddit actually was curious about those seasons as well...which is why I went out of my way to do clips from each of those seasons. Well Split Personality does look noticeably better than the DVD. Maybe almost on par with the Season 1 and 2 DVD's as far as picture quality goes.
The Season 6 and 7 DVD's are probably the best looking of the DVDs and that's obviously because the episodes are the youngest. So the clips from the episodes of those seasons do look a bit better.
Now you just need to do a 4K Season 3 episode.

You can easily see how the Crypt Keeper and Chucky share the exact same eyes. It's been mentioned how the puppet used the same eyes as Chucky from the Child's Play films. At least initially, not sure if it was kept that way for the duration of TFTC's run.

You can easily see how the Crypt Keeper and Chucky share the exact same eyes. It's been mentioned how the puppet used the same eyes as Chucky from the Child's Play films. At least initially, not sure if it was kept that way for the duration of TFTC's run. As far as I know, its been consistent with the entire series. |

Until we get an official Blu-ray release of the show (if ever), I think the upscales you're working on will work just fine for HD TFTC. |
