These episodes were not necessarily bad, but either didn't make much sense to me or I found their endings confusing (or maybe I just wasn't focused enough lol): Whirlpool (Season 6), Horror in the Night (s7), Til' Death Do We Part and Half-way Horrible (both season 5), Deadline (s3) and On a Deadman's Chest (s4). Which episode(s) had you going "huh?"

I still have no idea what the ending of Two For The Show was about.

The theory I have for Deadline is the journalist accidentally mentioned the wife's name when he wasn't supposed to know her. Still doesn't explain why he ended up in a straitjacket though. Going to check out what the commentators on youtube have to say.

Horror In The Night is one that definitely messes with your mind.

I still have no idea what the ending of Two For The Show was about. I haven't seen the episode in years, but the idea I got (IIRC) was the detective had also killed someone, and framed the husband for a double murder.

About Till Death Do We Part, the bulk of the episode was in the mind of John Stamos' character and how he imagined things before he killed Kate Vernon's character, knowing she'd likely just betray him in the end. At the end he gets out of his fantasy.
