Big fan of the series and Chucky is among my favorite of the Horror icons. I love and enjoy all of the films, including Bride and Seed Of Chucky, and I even enjoyed the 2019 remake. The recent Chucky TV show on USA and SyFy is awesome and it's great having the original Chucky back and how it delves more into his past. I often go back and forth on whether Child's Play 1 or 2 is my favorite, as both are awesome in their own way. I happily own the Scream Factory Blu-ray of the first film and wish Scream Factory would do the rest of the series, especially parts 2 and 3, which are both long overdue for improved editions. Chucky is one of the many great Horror characters Kevin Yagher worked on, and not sure how many know this, but Chucky and the Crypt Keeper actually share the same eyes, as Chucky's eyes from the first film were re-used for the Crypt Keeper puppet on TFTC. You can definitely see how they're the same when you take the time to examine them. Not too many people have worked on iconic genre characters like Chucky, Crypty and Freddy Krueger, but Kevin Yagher has worked on all three. There's also an official Chucky YouTube channel. So much cool content on there. |

It’s funny when it first came out I think I was about 6 and it scared the hell out of me. Then a few years later it played on HBO and I got the biggest kick out of it. It’s well done and entertaining. Tom Holland really has a strong 80’s resume. Wrote Psycho 2, Class of 84, directed Fright Night and Child’s Play

Fright Night is awesome. I also like the 1988 sequel and 2011 remake.
I own some of the McFarlane and NECA Chucky action figures as well. The ultimate one from NECA is especially cool, coming with so many of his weapons and even the Good Guy dolls box.

Fright Night 2 I feel is underrated. The remake I didn’t like and Tom Holland didnt either. He felt that it did t have the heart of the original and I agree with him

The remake I thought was entertaining, but it's hard to re-capture the unique and special feel of the original film. Which I feel is largely due to the 80s setting.

Also some good news for Chucky fans, the TV show got renewed for a second season which will air sometime in 2022. I loved the first season and eagerly await this.

The first season of the Chucky TV series is coming to Blu-ray on April 12th. Can't wait to own it, I greatly enjoyed the first season. I just wish we'd finally get good editions of Child's Play 2 and 3 already, they're ridiculously long overdue.

Heads up to fellow Chucky fans that both Child's Play 2 and 3 are getting long-overdue Collector's Edition 4K Blu-rays from Scream Factory on August 16th. Can't wait for both of these.

The new season of the Chucky TV show recently premiered. I'll check it out after I go through the films and first season again, which I will not long from now as part of my annual Horror viewing every October.

Chucky recently got renewed for a third season, which is a big relief as the past couple of months went by without word of possible renewal or cancellation.

Honestly I have t checked it out but glad it’s doing well and was renewed. Personally the only one I really enjoy is Tom Holland’s original. The second one was sort of fun in a campy way, the third was pretty bad, and the Bride of Chucky was funny to me intentionally or not lol. I will try to check out the series

Bride Of Chucky was intentionally comedic. It's a fun movie, but I definitely prefer the first three. Though to be honest I get enjoyment of every film in the series, I even dug the 2019 remake.
