He was in the awesome Hobo With a Shotgun, if you've never seen it it comes recommended. Great, gory fun throwback to exploitation films.

I remember seeing Blind Fury years ago on cable and it's definitely overdue for a rewatch.
He was an amazing actor. He had a subtle intensity to him and was able to communicate a lot using very little, which isn't always easy.

Same. I still enjoy quite a few newer films such as the MonsterVerse and most of the MCU, but I have a much stronger preference for 70s/80s/90s films. They feel much more real to me.

I feel too much CGI hurts movies these days and makes them feel too artificial. So many CGI-heavy films these days feel very cartoony and video game-y to me.

Exactly how I feel. The Hitcher has some awesome stunts as well and no cgi

That's what's awesome about older movies to me, how everything feels real. CGI in moderation only when it's absolutely needed is one thing, but a constant bombardment and overload makes it too much. One movie that really suffered from too much CGI was Aquaman, which has so much of it it's actually distracting from the story. Which is never good.

It’s a crime that this film still hasn’t been give a US bluray release. Must be a rights issue. Great movie that influence a lot of these road movies in particular Joy Ride(2001)

There’s a lot of real good 80’s films that haven’t been given a proper bluray or even end release. Extreme Prejudice was another one they finally just put out on bluray
