For anything Horror-related you have on your mind that may not necessarily warrant it's own thread but nevertheless is something you'd like to talk about.
The other day at the grocery store I work part-time at, I was helping a mother and her son bag their groceries, and the kid looked no older than five or six years old, tops. The kid also just so happened to be wearing a Freddy Krueger-style fedora and had plastic blades on his fingers replicating Freddy's finger blades. I was also wearing my anti-COVID face mask which says "I Heart Horror" and is adorned with images of various Horror characters like Freddy, Jason, Michael, Pinhead, Chucky, Pennywise, etc. and the kid seeing my mask was naming all of the characters in rapid succession. It was pretty incredible to see, such a young kid and yet he was well-aware of these characters and naming them all so quickly. It goes to show the impact these characters have had and how they continue to resonate in popular culture and win over new generations of fans as the years go by.
