If it wasn't for HBO, there would be no "Tales From The Crypt". Nor would the show have had the freedom it did with its content. Here's to 50 years of one of the best movie and TV networks.

Without Tales From the Crypt there would be no Oz,Sopranos, The Wire etc. I understand those are crime shows and TFTC was more horror oriented but there was still a lot better f good writing and it pushed the envelope being on HBO

Such a shame it's never acknowledged by them.

I’ve noticed a lot of tv shows and movies greatly influenced things that have become popular in pop entertainment culture yet they never acknowledge them
