I have a new favorite Horror series with the two Terrifier films. Wonder if anyone else here has seen them and is a fan. I saw Terrifier 2 in theaters last Halloween and had fun, and the film caused quite a bit of controversy with it's extremely gory and graphic violence that actually resulted in some moviegoers vomiting and even fainting in theaters. The films are some of the most extreme and bloody Horror films to come out in years for sure. As someone who grew up being both a slasher fan and also a big fan of practical effects, they're both a real treat and feel refreshing. Art The Clown has rightfully earned his spot as a new Horror icon among the likes of Freddy, Jason, Michael, Pinhead, Chucky, etc. Both films have spectacularly gruesome kills and actually remind me a bit of the EC Comics in the sense the kills are so over the top and spectacular they're kind of darkly comical in a gruesome sort of way. It's also worth noting the character of Art appears in the non-canonical anthology film, All Hallows Eve, released before the first Terrifier, and I'm curious to give it a watch.

If you liked the original I definitely recommend the sequel. It dwarfs the first one in every way and if thought the first film was gruesome it manages to eclipse even the gore levels.

Yeah I might check it out. The clown is definitely a terrifying villain for most audience members.

Art is a memorable villain for sure. He also previously appeared in the short films The 9th Circle and Terrifier and the anthology film All Hallows Eve, where he was previously portrayed by Mike Giannelli before being succeeded in the two solo Terrifier films by David Howard Thornton.

Saw Terrifier 3 last week and really enjoyed it. Going by the box office a fourth is definitely happening. I've really enjoyed all of the films so far and definitely recommend Terrifier 3 as well if you liked the first two. Though I get the extreme violence and gore levels aren't to everyone's tastes.
