Actor Michael Lerner has died at the age of 81 from causes not yet revealed as of this writing. R.I.P. Very sad by this news. He was a good and enjoyable actor in everything I saw him in and no matter how big or small his role was in anything or the quality of the production, he always managed to give a memorable performance and be a standout. He'll be missed.

He was in the TFTC season 5 episode "People Who Live in Brass Hearses".

Very good character actor. His role in Barton Fink gained him well deserved recognition and award nominations. I like him in No Escape as the corrupt warden

I remember him in No Escape, very underrated movie which also has some other TFTC alumni in it. He's also in Maniac Cop 2 as the crooked Mayor.

No Escape had a great cast. Ernie Hudson, Ray Liotta, Lance Henrikson, and Kevin Dillon

I got the Blu-ray of it that came out a few months back. It's an overlooked gem for sure that deserves to be re-appraised.
Lerner also had a small but memorable role in X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Even if his screentime was minimal, he always made the most of it in anything he was in.
