The Vault Keeper And Old Witch

These two characters in the original EC Horror comics were staples of them along with the Crypt Keeper and yet both were omitted from the show. Wonder why? If I were to guess it was likely for budget reasons and I guess they figured it was best to have one host instead of three sharing hosting duties. It seems with Crypty they definitely combined aspects of the other two into him. Interesting to note they both appeared in the second season of Tales From The Cryptkeeper where the three had an ongoing feud over hosting the show and took turns telling the stories. That was a rather clever way to implement them and I wonder how those two would've fared had they been featured on the live-action show.
