There was no reason at all to get rid of Nick GAS, at all. I hope it's brought back someday with the same programs as before. Sorry for the late reply. I hope that you're having a great year so far. I absolutely agree that Nick GAS shouldn't have been removed. It should've been left alone. Yeah, I also hope that it's brought back someday.

No worries, understand if work has kept you busy and whatnot.
I wonder if there's petitions to bring back Nick GAS? There should be if not. No reason it can't be brought back. They're being smart trying to reach out to their 90s audience but they need to do more.

I wish there were petitions, and yes they definitely need to do more to reach out to their 90s audience and make things right. That would show that they at least cared enough.

It seems they're at least making somewhat of an effort to reach out their 90s-era audience in more recent times, which is a step in the right direction. I'd honestly be perfectly fine in Nick these days was a retro channel with all their old shows and bumpers 24/7.

It's time that they stop beating around the bush and create a Nickelodeon retro channel or turn The Splat into an entire channel. And adding their old shows and bumpers 24/7 would be PERFECT.

No reason The Splat shouldn't be it's own channel by now. Come on, between that, bringing back Nick GAS and also having retro Nicktoons and Nick, Jr. channels.

Just recently a mini-series has been airing on Nickelodeon, consisting of three episodes. The third and last episode is set to air next weekend. I have my DVR set to record all three episodes, but I think the current ones are also viewable on YouTube. This is so awesome and unexpected that AYAOTD has been revived, even if just for a mini-series. It looks quite scary from the previews, I hope it's a worthy successor to the original show. It's great that the show is still so fondly remembered all these years later and has a pop culture resonance like this.

I plan to watch the mini-series tomorrow. Hope it's good. It says something about AYAOTD's resonance that all these years later it's gotten a revival like this.

Yes. There's something about the show that's so charming and as you said, resonate, with many children AND adults.

I've been going through many of the episodes online and it's amazing how the show still holds up well as an adult. It's very 90s, but still feels contemporary and as an adult I can see just how truly sophisticated it is.

The show is dated, but not dated because it still has a lot of topics and thrills that resonate nowadays.

I watched it this past weekend and without spoiling anything, I'll say it was very enjoyable and worthy of the AYAOTD name. It's quite scary and intense in parts too much like the old show was.
