The SSTTITD movie is very much in the vein of the 80s and 90s kid Horror movies. It still has enough of an edge to it to be enjoyable by an adult audience, much like something like say, The Monster Squad.

It's good to see that we still have edgy PG and PG-13 Horror films in this day and age.

A heads up that last year's AYAOTD limited series event released got released onto DVD this week and it also includes three episodes of the show (Dead Man's Float, Laughing In The Dark and Ghastly Grinner). Imagine my surprise when I saw it at Target. I grabbed it right away. Kind of sucks it's not on Blu-ray instead but I'll take what I can get.

I gotta be honest I did t watch this much back then. When I did see it I enjoyed it. It was dark despite being on a kids channel. Over the past few months I’ve been in a nostalgic kick. I’ve seen everything from Twin Peaks, Eerie,Indiana, Parker Lewis Cant Lose it Supernarket Sweep 😂. I need to check out AYAOTD again

The entire AYAOTD series is well worth seeing. It's surprisingly quite dark and scary despite being a kids show. Back then when kids shows had edge.

Watching it again, it's really like a 90s time capsule. As a kid of that decade and someone who remembers it so fondly, how 90s it is only adds to it's appeal for me.

I just found out something really disgusting and disturbing, that the actor who portrayed the Renegade Virus in the titular episode (Paul Cagelet) was charged with possession of child porn a few years back. Article here. This is really disgusting and sickening, and it'll be hard for me to watch that episode now knowing what a disgusting person he is in real-life. I don't buy one bit that he's sorry for his actions, as sex offenders and especially those fixated on children are among the least remorseful and least repetant type of criminals. I watched the episode again recently just before I found out about this. It'll be hard to sit through again knowing this. Then again, if I can still enjoy Creep Course from TFTC despite Jeffrey Jones being a similarly disgusting individual in real-life.

Wow that’s awful. Yes I agree those people make me sick. Anybody that who abuses/harms a child is a piece of shit and I want them to suffer dearly. That’s why whenever I hear about a child being murdered or an abortion it makes my blood boil.

Usually an actor I dislike as a person I can seperate them from their offscreen persona and I enjoy their work as a performer, but I have a hard time doing it when they've done something truly despicable like this. It's one thing to come off as an unlikeable jerk in real-life but it's entirely another to be a child abuser or sexual predator.

Yeah I try to separate the character from the actual actor but certain things are impossible to ignore. I forget the directors name but the director of Jeepers Creepers went to jail for child molestation. When he got out he was immediately welcomed back and even Disney financed one of his projects. Just sick

Victor Salva is his name. I'm well-aware of him and I regret ever watching Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2 years ago when I caught them on cable. It's a disgrace he got off so easy and is still working. It's bad enough he still has a career but the fact he slips in obvious nods and references to his pedophilia are just sick. Which goes to show he has zero remorse for what he did.

Yeah that’s him! I saw his movie called Powder(1995). When it came out. I was only 12 so I didn’t know his backround. Back then there was no social media so it was easier to keep those things hidden. Anyway I found later on when Jeepers Creepers came out and I just wanted to take a shower it was so disgusting
