Yeah that’s got sure 😂. It’s certainly not a feat show. They were very cheap, campy, and wacky. I guess that was part of its charm for me

I don't seem to recall ever catching them back in the day. I wish they'd get a complete series release.

I've seen very little of Freddy's Nightmares but from what I've seen it's very hit and miss. I understand. I've watched Freddy's Nightmares. I find it decent but it could've been a little better. It was trying to be like Tales from the Darkside and, of course, Tales from the Crypt. Though, one of the things I do like about the show is that it's basically showing us that Freddy Krueger isn't the only maniac that lives in Springwood. Most of the characters shown in the show are psychotic. I think that with all of these unsavory characters, this would explain why Freddy Krueger is such a constant presence in Springwood.

Yeah I watched the Never Sleep Again Documentary and the directors of Freddy Nightmares all said it was just a cash grab and the producers didn’t pay attention to on enough to put real good stories together.

I've seen the Never Sleep Again documentary several times and I don't remember seeing the directors of Freddy's Nightmares talking about the show. Do you have an extended cut of the documentary? Nevertheless, I agree that it was a cash grab because the ANOES franchise was HUGE during the 1980s and 1990s. I wish that the producers and writers would've focused on creating more good stories in the show.

I think the director William Malone was the one who said it. I’m pretty sure it was the regular version but I will check

I've seen and own the Never Sleep Again documentary and they do indeed talk about Freddy's Nightmares in one segment.

Always like the intro. Pure late 80’s early 90’s

It's a shame Robert Englund was never a guest star on TFTC. He would've been perfect, and how awesome it would've been for him in his Freddy garb to have shared a segment with the Crypt Keeper.

According to Robert England the guys who worked on Freddys Nightmares also worked on TFTC and all the mistakes they made in Freddys m Nightmares they learned from and fixed when working in TFTC

Yes, a lot of the same crew who worked on Freddy's Nightmares moved onto TFTC. Kevin Yagher who designed the Crypt Keeper also did Freddy's make-ups in Nightmares 2-4. He definitely did the best Freddy make-ups IMO, they were always very gruesome-looking and realistic.

He's done a lot of excellent work throughout his career for sure. You can view his Instagram account to see much of his work. He's worked on so many iconic and well-known characters like Freddy, Chucky, Crypt Keeper, etc. and also done work on big movies like Face/Off. He's among the best in the business for sure.

Yup I’ve seen his credits on IMDb(I hate social media 😂). He even directed one of the Hellraiser films but left in the middle of production over creative differences

Yes, that was Hellraiser: Bloodline (the fourth installment). From the sound of things the version he directed was very different from the theatrical version, which is a film where it's pretty obvious and blatant there was much studio meddling.
