Yup. Especially in NY which is like a ghost town now. I’m desperately trying to move the rest of my family down to Florida where life is more normal. Anyway yeah I agree I miss the fairs. A lot of good memories. The place where we had our county fair was held where the racetrack was so I remember watching the horse races with my grandfather back in the day.

It's a shame how this pandemic has turned everything so upside-down. It's still weird to watch videos post-coronavirus of places like Times Square in NYC and seeing it so empty and lifeless. I live in Las Vegas and seeing the footage of the strip so quiet and deserted is surreal.

Some 90s MTV Movie Awards Shows On This ChannelTalk about a blast from the past seeing these again. MTV was awesome back then. I remember watching a lot of their awards shows and their 90s ones are always very fun to watch. It's always interesting when you watch something like this and see what was trendy and popular at the time.

MTV is such a sad joke these days. How does such a good network take such a bad tumble? At least we've got uploaders who've uploaded many of their old shows and programs for us to enjoy.
Here's the 1990s MTV Movie Awards ceremonies, the uploader on that channel so far just has the shows for 1997-1999.
I plan to watch these all soon. I skimmed through them and they definitely trigger heavy duty nostalgia.

Like so many things in the entertainment industry today it just sucks 😂. Nowadays you have to watch everything you say otherwise social media will get you, Back then you could just enjoy different shows or networks like MTV and not think twice about it

Back then networks like that had a whole trove of excellent programming to enjoy. MTV right now isn't even a shadow of what it was back then. Nickelodeon seems to at least be making an effort to appease their 90s-era fans which is good to see.

The problem is they are poisoning the minds of kids with what they their agendas instead of just putting out entertainment content for kids and teenagers. My kids watch shows I used to watch like Supermarket Sweep, Married with Children, boy meets world, Guts. Legend of the hidden temple, American gladiators. One if the hood things about streaming is that you can find all those older better shows

I blame the reality TV craze of the early 2000s which unfortunately is still going strong. So many networks felt the need to cash in in that stupid trend and they suffered badly as a result. MTV was an early casualty.

Yeah I despise reality tv. My wife watches it a little bit but I can’t stand it. I’m very old school when it comes to scripted tv programs. Reality tv is also partially scripted but all they do is yell and are annoying 😂

I still can't believe how stuff like celebrity reality and bachelor shows are still a thing. Ugh.

Yeah I don’t get it. I think the problem is the rise of social media meant the rise of these crappy reality tv shows. I also miss those fun syndicated shows they used to have like Hercules. Now they have Game of Thrones which I never watched

For me 90s Nickelodeon is what I mostly loved. But really, back in the 90s I religiously watched Nick along with MTV, VH1, the Discovery and Learning Channels along with Disney and Sci-Fi and USA. The 90s was a treasure trove of quality TV shows.

I really miss those syndicated shows from the 80’s and 90’s. They were usually lost budget and not the best quality but they could push boundaries that network shows couldn’t. For example Freddys Nightmares was a syndicated show and although the shows looked cheap and werent great they had that wacko charm to them that not many shows had

I've seen very little of Freddy's Nightmares but from what I've seen it's very hit and miss.
