It's sad to see video stores are no more. I get they're antiquated by now, but I still miss the simple nostalgic thrill of browsing around. Especially the Horror section.

Yeah it’s very sad. I know streaming is easier but there is something special about going to the video store after waiting for a long time for a certain movie to come out or finding a hidden gem in the horror or action section

I miss those days. Renting old favorites and also discovering new ones. Streaming is easier but video stores have a certain simple, nostalgic charm. I still prefer to physically rent if and whenever possible.

At work this week I ran into a childhood friend I haven’t seen since maybe 96-97. We caught up on family/job life but much if our conversation had to do with the good times we had in the 90’s as kids and how things are so drastically different now. It feels great to reminisce about those times and for a short while it’s almost like you’re transferred back to that time

That's awesome you both got to do that.
I've been feeling nostalgic for the 90s lately and am watching some of my favorite films from the decade, along with checking out 90s commercials and bumpers on YouTube, of which tons can be found. Always fun to immerse yourself in 90s nostalgia once in a while and re-live the decade and all that was cool about it.

Assorted 90s Toy CommercialsSo much nostalgic goodness on that site, really takes me back to being a kid in the 90s. I remember seeing tons of those commercials back then as a kid. It's so easy to waste hours and hours on YouTube looking at old commercials and bumpers.

Yeah. I experienced some of the 80’s as well but the 90’s were my real childhood/teen years. The movies, music, activities were all so much better fir youths than nowadays
