Same here. Vastly preferable to reading a digital download. Such a shame those are driving so many comic book shops out of business

I always enjoy the atmosphere of the shops and talking with the owners. You just don't get that with a digital download. I always enjoyed the feeling of finding the comics I was looking for and then finding surprises along the way.

There's just something so special about the atmosphere of comic book shops and the people who run them.

Not to mention knowing you're supporting their businesses when you buy their goods.

Not to mention knowing you're supporting their businesses when you buy their goods. Totally! Either way, that's good.

I still miss the comic book shop near me that closed down back in 2014. There's always a strong feeling of sadness passing by where it used to be.

It was a nice shop too, there was always something cool there. I recall even getting some of the Papercutz TFTC comics from there.

There's a newer one at least that opened late last year that's still around, so it's something.

Here's to hoping it stays in business. It's nice having an old-fashioned comic book shop so closeby.

Back on the subject of DC films, after seeing Joker I can honestly say I hope to see it get a sequel and hopefully we see a true resurgence of R-rated comic book films. What an amazing film, and to finally see The Joker done right with an R-rating.
