This year's going to be a little quiet with the MCU with just the Black Widow film as well as The Immortals. Truthfully it's not so bad as I think audiences probably need a bit of a break from it.

Sad thing is going that route is what's going to put people off of future installments and it goes against what worked about the original wave of MCU films.

I meant to say The Eternals, for some reason I keep thinking it's title is The Immortals.
If the MCU keeps it up with this pandering it's going to hurt them and the quality of the films, which would be such a shame. It'd be unfortunate for the current climate to affect the quality of the films. It's bad enough that that infamous scene in Endgame (you know what I'm referring to) made it into the movie.

I want to see the show. Too bad it got canceled because I’ve heard good things about it. I was a big fan of the films as a kid and even the cheesy tv series in the early 90’s

I was, too. I was a big Swamp Thing fan as a kid. Enjoyed the films, both the live-action and animated TV series and had quite a few of the Kenner toys.

I just rewatched Return of Swamp Thing for the first time since like 1992 lol. Holy Crap it’s so campy and ridiculous yet still so entertaining

Return Of Swamp Thing is a guilty pleasure. I watched it a lot as a kid and we even had the VHS back then, so the nostalgia is high. For all of it's cheesiness, I do find the Leechman monster to be quite scary and he was definitely something of a boogeyman as a kid. Kind of a shame you didn't see more of him.

Very True. I also watched the VHS all the time. I loved the opening credits “Born on the Bayou”

I had the action figure of Bog Sucker as a kid and pretended he was Leechman when he had the slide-on mask/monster accessory the Un-Men came with. His very first scene with the camera slowly panning up to reveal him as he's doing his scary sucking and growling sound was actually pretty frightening as a kid. It's funny how the rest of the movie is so cheesy but Leechman's scenes were scary.

Yeah the Leechman looked pretty scary as a kid. However I must confess I laughed and its fight with Swamp Thing.

He'd be a cool monster to see integrated into the actual comic book canon, maybe given more backstory and development.
