The first two Blade films with Wesley Snipes were also quite successful and well-received, which goes to show audiences and fans want characters like him to retain their edge.

I'll have no hope at all for the next Blade film if it's PG-13, what a foolish and fatal mistake that would be if Marvel went that route.

Worst case scenario they could just do a Netflix series aimed at mature audiences like they did with Daredevil and Punisher. Characters like that aren't family-friendly anyway nor should they be.

It's good that characters like Daredevil and Punisher at least had their own mature Netflix series. Goes to show Marvel does care to a degree about their edgier characters being done right.

It's just that Disney as a company is a control freak and has tight control over Marvel, you never know what they might do.

Disney unfortunately has a tight and short leash on Marvel, and it's seemingly getting shorter as time goes on.

Maybe that's what's needed at this point to make Marvel realize this approach is a bad one and alienating their fans.

Absolutely. They need to know that this isn't the right path and they need to do better.

Especially if they want to keep things interesting as by now one can argue the MCU is beginning to run it's course.

Marvel still has quite a few other lesser-known characters who deserve their time to shine, including more Horror-oriented ones. I still say a Horror-oriented offshoot of the MCU would be a good way to keep it fresh.
