Yeah. I wish my kids could experience that. Before social media, iPhones, or even the mainstream internet, and obviously before COVID.

Agreed. Purity is a good word. Look it wasn’t perfect I Admit that. But it was totally different than today is pretty much every aspect I can think of 😂

I also think back then you had the right balance of technology and in a way it wasn't so pervasive and domineering in our lives as it is now. I can't imagine the 90s where people are constantly on their cell phones texting, tweeting, taking selfies, etc. like now.

Yeah. I know this sounds funny but I see three year olds with iPads or iPhones 😂. What possible reason could they need them At this age. I didn’t get my first cell phone until maybe 15 or 16 in the late 90’s and those were those Huge Nokia phones where you couldn’t even talk for very long on it without being charged a ton.

I still don't have an iPad or iPhone, and have no use or need for either. My normal phone does the job fine.

I have an iPhone for my job but I don’t have an iPad and my kids don’t either. In fact I didn’t get an iPhone until a few years ago.

I just need a phone to make and receive calls, that's it. Though admittedly in this day and age of COVID-19 the internet connectivity I'd imagine is probably quite useful.

I agree with you. Like I’ve mentioned before I will never like social media and the Russell if technology these past 15 years or so. I think it’s had far more negatives out there especially for the youth

I despise social media. Not only are They clearly biased To the Left but they promote negativity/hate. God I miss the 90’s so damn bad

It's ironic to be complaining about it, but I really do miss the pre-internet age and before the rise of social media. Life seemed so much simpler and happier, then.

Yeah true. Selfies I don’t mind as much EXCEPT when people stop in the middle of the street to do it or something like that. I used to go into the city for work and people would just stop and do it which gets in Everyone’s way during rush hour
